I remember a long time ago, about the time I was 9, that I was with Dave looking at a park. We had driven around a couple of times and were getting ready to go meet with the owner. He brought us inside his home and we all sat down at his table and were discussing the park with him. All of the sudden there was a knock on the door. He went and answered it and it was a police officer. He asked if he was so and so and the park owner replied yes. The officer told him he was in violation of his restraining order his wife had on him. At the time Dave and I were watching the whole ordeal from the table. We walked back to the car at this time and saw the park owners wife who asked what we were doing. We said we were looking to buy the park from the owner. We then had gotten into our car that was parked in front of his garage which was open. We saw him run out yell at his wife and then slam the garage door shut with the manual cable. Since it was a long time ago I am not sure if Dave purchased the park but I am pretty sure the guy went to jail and we never heard from him again. His wife loved their park a did not want to sell it.
It is funny to read your version of a long time ago. It is almost 9 years – wow.
Thanks Todd. I still remember like it was yesterday. Just one memory that has always stuck with me.
